Attention Hurricane Katrina Families:

Let us help you get reintegrated into your new community.

Project H.O.P.E. can help.

Project H.O.P.E. is the result of a grant which makes it possible to continue identifying and providing services for mental health related needs for Katrina evacuees.  This disaster was not only an individual and family changing event, but a community, culture, and identity changing event as well.

Project H.O.P.E. is in response to the relocation of over 600,000 people as the result of hurricane Katrina.  The initial response through the Red Cross and volunteers from local agencies and faith based organizations provided many survival needs and brief crisis intervention.  However, many families remain located in this area, because they can not return to their communities for various reasons.

Project is also accepting donations of household goods.  To find out how to make a donation,
please click here, or visit www.tallytown.com/redcross/recovery/offer.html.

Project H.O.P.E. offers no cost services that include professional and client education, counseling, employment services, housing connections, and other services as needed.

You can contact us at (850) 523-3337 or (800) 500-961.

Or, visit our website at www.geocities.com/apalacheecenter.
