  • Persecution of Ben Pingree Unfair and Unwarranted

For starters, Ben Pingree is one of the most ethical and honest individuals you'll find. It seems that Mr. Kessler's entire political re-election platform is based on keeping government "ethical" in Wakulla County. Ben Pingree is NOT an elected official; he was hired by the Commission. And, he re...

  • Persecution of Ben Pingree Unfair and Unwarranted

Ms Brock's bias is showing. Apparently she has not done any research on any of the many issues that have come to light. The very first thing I looked into is the Weatherization Program. The fact Mr Pingree spent over $80,000 of Wakulla County taxpayer money (that we may or may not get back), wi...

  • Wakulla Springs State Park at Halfway Point in Coke Fundraising Contest

This is my first visit to your web site-I ran across this article when I was searching for news about the contest on Google. I absolutely loved this posting...Laptop in the kitchen, multiple screens going to try to maximize votes, you really nailed it, LOL! Thanks for the laugh, and good luck to ...

  • Persecution of Ben Pingree Unfair and Unwarranted

I wonder how Mrs. Brock feels about Mr. Pingree firing John Tayor without proper due process. How about when he fired Larry Knowles without proper due process? How about when he fired Luther Council because he didn't go along with Mr. Pingree's program. What about THEIR families? What about THEIR ...

  • Persecution of Ben Pingree Unfair and Unwarranted

I am baffled at Ms. Brock's letter. Integrity? Mr. Pingree has submitted contracts on THREE occasions for Inspired Technology. NONE of them were competitive, two of them exceeded the commission's own guidelines. There is no integrity in ignoring guidelines for fiscal responsibility. Finding a respon...

  • Persecution of Ben Pingree Unfair and Unwarranted

I'm trying to understand Mrs. Brock's letter. She makes the questions that have been raised about Mr. Pingree's actions seem like some sort of attack when they're simply questions. She uses some very loaded language to advance her argument, then she goes all biblical on us, so I feel I must respond....

  • Please Save Our Springs

If you believe, as I do and Ms. Damon does, that our Wakulla Springs needs more protection and that we need a commissioner that agrees, join us this Saturday morning in Hudson Park, where we will be holding signs and encouraging people to: Vote early, and, Vote for Derek Howard We'll have sig...

  • Persecution of Ben Pingree Unfair and Unwarranted

I would also like to know how Mrs Brock came to her conclusion that Ben Pingree is being persecuted. Without a thorough investigation there is no way for any of us to know for sure. A lot of people like Ben. He is a pretty personable man. But personable people sometimes do awful things. The real est...

  • Persecution of Ben Pingree Unfair and Unwarranted

A good place to begin is with the August 1st 2010 story in the Tallahassee Democrat. It’s not very likely their Senior Writer would print something without researching the facts first. It’s very obvious Ms. Brock is not aware of the facts surrounding Mr. Pingree. I’d suggest that for her to bl...
