Whole Child Wakulla Initiative Workgroup Meeting Scheduled for January 8

Wakulla is enthusiastic about uniting our local community, and linking parents with local resources and providers.  Please join us for our first workgroup meeting to be held on Thursday, January 8, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the TCC Wakulla Center, located at 5 Crescent Way in Crawfordville.  The focus of the meeting will be to establish Wakulla Whole Child.  Representative Lorrane Ausley will be our speaker.  Refreshments will be served.

The Whole Child Project is not another program, but a philosophy that uses strategic planning, web-based technology, performance measurement and
broad-based community engagement to build communities where everyone works together to make sure children thrive; to assist policy makers,  community leaders and advocates to identify critical issues related to the well being of children 0 - 5; and to develop the capacity to address these issues.
