Oldest Living Retired Wakulla County School Board Employee will Ride in Blue Crab Festival Parade 

The oldest living retired Wakulla County School Board employee, Edna Wilson, 91 years old, will be participating in the Blue Crab Festival Parade in Panacea, Florida on Saturday, May 3rd at 10:00 a.m.  Line-up begins north of the Post Office on Jer-be-lou.

Ms. Wilson was a school bus driver for Wakulla County Schools from August 1961 to February 1990 and even drove the school bus for Superintendent David Miller when he was a mere lad.  Miss Edna attended Crawfordville High School and was born in 1917.  When Mrs. Wilson began driving in 1961 she was paid $1580 for the school year.

Mrs. Wilson will be participating as an honored member, and will be riding in a golf cart.
