Come Enjoy an Old-Fashioned "Christmas in Sopchoppy" on Saturday, December 8

old fashioned christmas scene 200.gifCome join us Sopchoppy for what is quickly becoming a Wakulla County holiday tradition, "Christmas in Sopchoppy."  This year's event will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.  There will be more arts and crafts vendors than ever to help you get a jump on your Christmas shopping, and the local Sopchoppy merchants will be open for your shopping needs, as well.  Concessions will be available throughout the day with all sorts of treats to tempt your tastebuds, including seafood, Mexican food, funnel cakes, and more.

Santa will arrive by special delivery at 11:00 a.m. and will listen to children's requests on the porch of the Sopchoppy Outfitter's building (on Rose Street; next to the old railroad terminal) for an hour or so, or until there are no more children in line.

Backwoods Bistro will be open with a special breakfast menu of hot cinnamon buns and breakfast burritos in addition to their lunch and dinner menus.

Christmas in Sopchoppy is sponsored by the Sopchoppy Preservation and Improvement Association.  For more information, please email billlowrie@embarqmail.com or call 962-4138.
