Wakulla County Easter Egg Hunt to be Held
It's time to clean last year's grass out of the Easter baskets! The Wakulla County Parks and Recreation Department will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, March 31, 2007. One thousand plastic Easter eggs full of candy and toy surprises will be hidden throughout Azalea Park for the enjoyment of area children (and children at heart!).
Registration will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Hudson Park. Children from babies to age 10 are eligible for the hunt. Each child who registers for the hunt will receive a ticket for an Easter basket drawing to be held after the hunt is over. Two Easter baskets per age group will be given away in the drawing.
After registration, participants will move over to Azalea Park for the actual egg hunt at 11:00 a.m. The park will be roped off into sections for each different age group.
According to Parks and Rec, there were about 250 registrants last year. They are hoping to see even more children out for this year's hunt.
