Western Day Enjoyed by All at Wakulla County Senior Center
The Wakulla County Senior Citizens Center held a special "Western Day" event this past Friday, August 24, 2007. Guests of the center came dressed in their best western attire, and each received their own straw cowboy hat to take home with them. The Pickin' and Grinnin' band entertained everyone as they enjoyed their lunch, and many guests got up and danced to the music.
According to Diane Lanter, Activities Director for the center, this will become an annual event. "We will be hosting a special theme day once every two months," said Lanter. "We thought it would be something different and fun for our Seniors."
