Featured Exhibitors:

Migration and Way Station  Learn about monarch butterflies and their amazing ability to
migrate through the Gulf coast to Mexico and how you can establish a “monarch way station”.

Tagging Station Demonstration of tagging and release of live monarch butterflies (if available)
down at the lighthouse parking lot.

People Tagging Station  Are you migrating too? Come by the “People” tagging booth near the
cabin and get tagged and measured.

Creative Butterfly Crafts  Children of all ages will enjoy making crafts featuring our special
butterflies! By the cabin and the lighthouse.

Live Butterfly Tent  Walk among free-flying butterflies in our screened tent!

History of St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge  Help us celebrate our 75th Anniversary!  Learn about the history of the refuge, what animals live here, what you can do at the refuge, what events are coming up, and what you can do for the refuge.

Exhibitors  Many great exhibitors too numerous to list, come check them out!

Special Features & Guided Tours

Slide Show by the North American Butterfly Association (NABA)   Joinnaturalist/photographer Billy Boothe in the cabin for the slide presentation on local butterflies and learn more about this special organization.  10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Guided Butterfly Walks  Following the slide presentations, interested visitors will meet at the cabin and follow a guide to the hiking location for a butterfly walk.  You are encouraged to bring Binoculars.

Guided Van Tours  There will be 8 – one hour tours by Betsy Kellenberger and Ken Clineman.  Call 850/925-6121 for times and to make reservations.

For Sale

Butterfly T-shirts and gifts in the Visitor Center Bookstore  Wonderful butterfly items, special festival T-shirts, books and gifts. Open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Native Plants on Sale by Local Nurseries
