St. Marks Stone Crab Festival to be Held October 23

Stone-Crab-Street-Scene-187The annual St. Marks Stone Crab Festival will be held this Saturday, October 23, 2010 in downtown St. Marks, Florida in Wakulla County.

According to Vendor Chair Mickey Cantner, more than 150 vendors are expected this year.  And, she added, “To accommodate the growing number of vendors and visitors, we are increasing the actual area for shopping.  We will be opening the main street (Port Leon Drive) for vendor use."

The October 23 festival runs from 10 am – 6 pm.  There will arts and crafts, informational booths, and of course, stone crabs!!  Portions of the festival’s profits go to the St. Marks Waterfronts Florida Partnership and the St. Marks Volunteer Fire Department.  The festival is a 501.c3 Non Profit Corporation.
