Santa Claus is Coming to Azalea Park on Friday, December 12
{sidebar id=3}Santa is coming! Santa is coming!
Friday, December 12th, 2008, between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m. the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office Volunteers and the Wakulla County Parks and Recreation Department are bringing Santa and Mrs. Clause to Azalea Park in Crawfordville for the annual Christmas in the Park celebration. Santa and Mrs. Claus, along with their elves, will arrive on a horse drawn carriage courtesy of Guy Revell.
Because of the elf known as Ben Withers, there will be spin art and face painting as well as Coo Coo the Clown with his magic balloons, a train ride and Moonwalkers inflatables. All children that visit Santa will be given one free family picture with him and a small gift, courtesy of the sheriff’s volunteers.
Read on, there’s more…all children will have an opportunity to win a computer. Two bikes will also be given away; one for a boy and another for a girl. The only thing they have to do to win is be there! The drawing will take place shortly before 8:00 p.m. Hot chocolate and other goodies will also be available.
