I think I saw the first Christmas decorations in the stores! It’s that time again. Time to get the memories of the hurricanes behind us and time to put aside our differences. And it’s time for you to make arrangements to join us on Saturday, December 3rd, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. for a Wakulla County tradition, Christmas in Sopchoppy.
There will be a variety of arts and crafts booths available for those of you who would like to get a jump on your Christmas shopping, and Sopchoppy merchants will also be open for your shopping pleasure. Children's activities will be provided by the Sopchoppy Arts Association, and concessions will also be available throughout the day. Santa Claus will pay the town a visit in his horse and buggy at 11:00 a.m., and From the Heart Recording Studio will be providing entertainment, as well.
Christmas in Sopchoppy is sponsored by the Sopchoppy Preservation and Improvement Association. For more information, please call the festival hotline at (850)962-2020.
PS: MARK SATURDAY, APRIL 8, 2006, ON YOUR CALENDAR FOR THE SIXTH ANNUAL WORM GRUNTIN’ FESTIVAL. VENDOR INVITATIONS WILL BE SENT OUT IN JANUARY.
