Celebrate Christmas the Old-Fashioned Way in Sopchoppy
{sidebar id=3}Come
join us in Sopchoppy for what is quickly becoming a Wakulla County holiday
tradition, "Christmas in Sopchoppy." This year's event will be held on
Saturday, December 13, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. There will
be more arts and crafts vendors than ever to help you get a jump on
your Christmas shopping, and the local Sopchoppy merchants will be open
for your shopping needs, as well. Concessions will be available
throughout the day with all sorts of treats to tempt your tastebuds!
Santa will arrive by special delivery at 11:00 a.m. and will listen to children's requests on the porch of the Sopchoppy Outfitter's building (on Rose Street; next to the old railroad terminal) for an hour or so, or until there are no more children in line.
Christmas in Sopchoppy is sponsored by the Sopchoppy Preservation and Improvement Association. For more information, please email billlowrie@embarqmail.com This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it or call 962-4138.
