2006 Forget Me Not
Family Festival and Walk
Saturday, November 4

Dear Friends:

November is National Alzheimer’s Awareness Month and the Alzheimer Resource Center is hosting the 2006 Forget Me Not Family Festival & Walk on November 4th.  Our goal is to increase community awareness about the disease and the resources available in our local community to help caregivers.  In addition, the event will also raise funds for education and supportive services for caregivers in Tallahassee and neighboring counties.

The Forget Me Not Festival and Walk is a great opportunity for businesses, civic groups, faith communities and individuals to show that they have not forgotten the many caregivers taking care of loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease.  There are lots of ways to participate - as a walker, a team sponsor, an event sponsor, or just come out to enjoy the day’s activities and show that you care about caregivers.  If you cannot join us on Nov. 4th, we hope you’ll consider making a contribution.
