Rotary Club of Wakulla County Hosts
Candidates Forum 

The Rotary Club of Wakulla County hosted a candidates forum during their regular meeting this past Thursday, August 10.  The meeting was held jointly with the Coastal Optimist Club.  The candidates for Wakulla County School Board and Property Appraiser were the featured guests.

The candidates took turns speaking and answering questions from the audience.  The candidates for property appraiser were not asked any questions, but the incumbent school board members were asked several questions pertaining to salaries, the recent land purchase for the new elementary school, and direct questions concerning what they had personally done to improve the school system.
