Habitat for Humanity
of Wakulla County
Mission Statement
|
The goal of Habitat for Humanity of Wakulla County is to eliminate poverty housing from our county and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. It is not an easy task. It takes time and effort, volunteers, and funding. Two sources of income for Habitat for Humanity for Wakulla County are the ReStore and the annual Gourmet Dinner and Auction.
If you are not familiar with ReStore, stop in at 940 Shadeville Highway. Restore sells new and nearly new building materials, fixtures, and larger household items to the public. Since all items in the ReStore are donated to Habitat for Humanity of Wakulla County, all the money earned from sales goes to build the houses in Wakulla County. Don’t need to buy anything? Keep ReStore in mind for donating those items you no longer need.
