Wakulla Community Theatre Selects Cast for SOUND OF MUSIC Production

Reba Mason, Director of Wakulla Community Theatre announced this week that the cast has been selected for the WCT’s major production this season, THE SOUND OF MUSIC.

“We are so excited with the tremendous turnout for both the adult and children’s auditions“, Mason said.  “The amount of talent in this county is astounding!  Thirty-two children auditioned for the eight roles and the competition was stiff.  All of the children did an awesome job and showed poise as well as talent.,” she continued.  ” We hope the ones not selected will continue their interest in areas of drama and music in their schools and church programs."

The children’s cast will begin rehearsals in the near future under the leadership of Assistant Directors, Mina Sutton and Jan Pearce.  Main cast rehearsals will begin in January and the show will be presented March 14-15, and  21-22, 2008.
