The Sopchoppy Opry will perform its 146th show with the season opener on January 28, 2012!Over the years, many individual and groups have graced the historic stage and the high standards of musical skill each brought to the show has developed a rich tradition of excellence that has made the Opry "just the right place to be for the best classic country, bluegrass and Gospel Music" for musicians and fans! South Bound’s special guest for the January 28 show and in their Opry debut performance will be Tom Roberts (pictured top right) with the Way Up & Beauty Music Band (pictured bottom right) – another good example of excellence the Sopchoppy Opry has come to represent!

Opry fans, its not too late to get 2012 season tickets! For just $54, you’ll have a reserved seat to six (6) great ‘regular’ shows (January 28 – Tom Roberts w/Way Up & Beauty Music Bands; March 31 - Big Bend Blue Grass; May 26 – Shepherds Creek; July 28 – Lisa Watson & Pure Platinum; September 29 - Swiftwater & November 17 – Hoot Gibson) and have first choice of seats for all Opry ‘special’ shows during the year!
Special show seats are $15 and sold separately. Five (5) ‘special’ shows are being scheduled for 2012! Two (2) specials are already set: February 25 with Wayne Martin & his Country Gold Band featuring David Rudd & Billy Rader; April 14 the Todd Allen Show, a Branson & Vegas style show featuring songs of the legends of country & rock’n’ roll – Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison & Elvis will roll into town; August 25 – The Purvis Brothers perform a ‘Willie Nelson Tribute’ (unconfirmed-date is tentative; October 27 - An All Gospel Opry (unconfirmed); December 8 – the 1st annual Sopchoppy Opry Christmas Show (artist not yet confirmed).
