Joel Hathaway and Easy Company Are Back For June 27 Sopchoppy Opry!

The Sopchoppy Opry is on a roll and the bands and individual performers keep bringing the house down with every show!  The Opry will celebrate its 9th Anniversary in July and the Sopchoppy Opry Family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the fans for their loyal support of the Opry and appreciation for classic country, Gospel & Bluegrass music!  There’s been some great shows since that first one in July 2000 but just look who’s rolling into town June 27!  

Opry Fans, you’ve been asking for Joel Hathaway & Easy Company and here they come!

Easy Company’s last appearance on the Opry was September ‘06 but fans have never forgotten the great performance -music and instrumentation – the boys of Easy Company Band gave that night!  Joel Hathaway, Charles Morris, Jimmy Morris, Frank Morrison, Warren Nichols and Ricky Brown make Easy Company one of the top groups ever to play that grand old classic country music!  Easy Company has shared a special brand of music with fans all over North Florida for the last six years and was recently featured at the prestigious Florida Folk and the Tupelo Honey Festivals.  The band has an extensive repertoire of music that includes classics made popular by country greats George Strait, John Anderson, Alabama & David Allen Coe along with original music written, arranged and recorded by the band!  Such tunes as ‘Midnite in Montgomery’, ‘Fool Hardy Memories’,  ‘Seminole Wind’ and ‘Love In the First Degree’ are performed with a style, harmony and instrumentation that brings an audience to its feet in spontaneous applause!  For more information on this fantastic band, go to www.joelhathaway.org .
