The arts programs from all the Wakulla County public schools will host their annual "Celebration of the Arts" on Thursday evening, March 3, 2011 at the Wakulla High School auditorium.

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a silent auction in the auditorium lobby featuring one piece per school:  reproductions of famous paintings by artists such as Van Gogh, Cezanne, O'Keeffe, and more. 

The performances will begin at 6:30, and will feature Orff Band and Chorus performances from the elementary schools; jazz band performances from Wakulla Middle School, Riversprings Middle School, and Wakulla High; drama performances from both Wakulla High and Wakulla Middle; and a chorus performance from Wakulla High.

Please come out and support the arts in Wakulla County.  All funds raised will provide college scholarships for Wakulla High School arts students.
