Award winning folksinger/songwriter Nick Annis will appear at Posh Java on Friday, July 1, 2011.

Admired by folk fans for his storytelling talent, Annis captivates his audience by drawing upon timeless accounts of humanity and “true” stories.  Drawing on his diverse background and Greek roots, audiences return to hear Annis’ sensitive and thought provoking original songs.

One of three winners of the 2006 South Florida Songwriting Contest, judged by seven nationally recognized radio hosts, folk fans, and festival organizers, Annis has won or placed in as many as ten songwriting contests across the US.  His performances are memorable and intelligent.  One fan described Annis as possessing a dry wit, profound and sincere lyrics, with a voice similar to James Taylor, but with a soulfulness uniquely his own.
