Time to Renew Membership for Wakulla County Historical Society

{sidebar id=3}Dear WCHS Members and Others Interested in Local History,

We’re looking forward to our September meeting of the Historical Society next week, Tuesday, 9/9, 7PM, at the Wakulla County Public Library.  Our program will concentrate on the villages of Crawfordville, Arran, and Medart and we have several local citizens who will share memories and pictures of their ancestors and their lives in our beloved Wakulla County.  Plan to attend, come early for refresh-ments and fellowship; you will not be disappointed!

It is time to renew memberships in the WCHS for the 2008-09 year.  How time flies!

Click here to download a copy of our membership form as well as a form for making a donation to the completion of of our Wakulla County Historical Museum and Archives.  I want to brag on a small group of WCHS members led by Madeleine Carr who have supplied tremendous amounts of volunteer “elbow grease” for accomplishing what has been done.  Our thanks to those who have grabbed the dream and moved forward!

Thank you to so many who have been faithful supporters through the years and thank you to many who have stepped forward with donations on several special occasions.  We still plan to have our Memorial Wall in the Museum, which will honor those who have contributed and/or those who were memorialized by those ontributions.  Once again, thanks, and hope to see you on Tuesday, 9/9!

Sincerely,

Betty Green, President
Wakulla County Historical Society
