Three Candidates Turn Out for CCOW Forum

Concerned Citizens of Wakulla County (CCOW) hosted a Citizen's Political Forum on Thursday, August 24th.  All six of the county commissioner candidates were invited to participate.  George Green and Larry Taylor from District 2 and Howard Kessler from District 4 attended.  Questions were prepared in advance of  the forum by CCOW members and picked at random.   Towards the end, the audience was given an opportunity to ask questions.

Candidates answered questions for about 1.5 hours and the event ended at 9:00 p.m.  The Forum was very congenial and informative; all in attendance, including the candidates seemed please with the process and opportunity.  CCOW was happy with the question and answer session but would have been more pleased if all six candidates had shown.

We look forward to the next Citizens Political Forum in October, which will be a debate-type format and open to the public.
