CHAT Adoption Center Will Participate in Iams Home for the Holidays Adoption Drive
Iams Home 4 the Holidays Continues Its Mission to Reduce the Number of Orphaned Pets Around the World Through Its Annual Pet Adoption Drive
CHAT Adoption Center has joined efforts with 2,500 shelters around the world to participate in the annual Iams Home 4 the Holidays (IH4TH) pet adoption campaign, founded by Helen Woodward Animal Center and supported by Iams, a management of pet food. CHAT Adoption Center is participating in the campaign Oct.1, 2008 through Jan. 5, 2009 to help place 1 million pets into homes.
“We’re proud to be a part of the annual campaign – Iams Home 4 the Holidays – and work toward helping place 1 million animals into homes during the holiday season,” said Heide Clifton, CHAT Vice President. “This year marks the program’s 10th anniversary, as thousands of shelter partners from around the world come together to help homeless animals. We’re asking everyone to open their hearts this holiday season and be a hero to a pet who needs a home.”
All dogs, cats, puppies and kittens adopted during IH4TH will go home with their new family and an Iams Starter Kit. Included in each kit are information tips to help the new parent and their furry friend get off on the right paw.
“The staff here at CHAT is specially trained and can help families choose the perfect pet for their personalities and lifestyles,” said Heide Clifton.
The 2008 Iams Home 4 the Holidays event kicked off October 1, 2008. In addition, special activities will be held to celebrate Iams Home 4 the Holidays 2008, including a Silent Auction event during the “Christmas in Sopchoppy” celebration Saturday, December 13th, 2008.
