Wakulla Bank to Host Benefit for Cancer Patient Rebekah Moninger

Wakulla Bank to Host Benefit Concert for Children’s Cancer

Wakulla Bank’s “Community Concert for Children’s Cancer” is a benefit for bank employee Rebekah Moninger.  Moninger, 21, is undergoing treatment for osteosarcoma, the most common type of bone cancer, and the sixth most common type of cancer in children.

Camp for children with cancer and to Wakulla County Relay for Life.

Customers and community members also can donate items at any of Wakulla Bank’s 15 branches for area children who will attend R.O.C.K. camp this summer.  Suggested items for children ages 8 – 12 include:  handheld games, pens/pencils/stationery, pencil or cosmetic bags, travel pillows, visors or hats, and sunglasses.

“Wakulla Bank’s involvement in this event is very personal,” said Vice President/Controller Susan Payne Turner.  “Rebekah is a valued employee of the bank and treasured member of this community.”

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12, and are on sale at all Wakulla Bank branches.
