Work of Watercolor Artist Michael Parramore Will Be On Display
A native of this area, Michael Parramore, is exhibiting his art work through September 30, 2008, at:
Simply Artistic Gallery
Railroad Square
602 McDonnell Drive
Tallahassee, FL 32310
Michael's watercolor's depict local scenery that is so familiar to those of us that call north Florida home. Samples of his work that is on display includes the St. Mark's Lighthouse, Posey's and local scrimp boats.
Michael is the son of Joe Parramore and the late Gay Tankersley Parramore. He and his wife Beth have two children and are involved in many environmental projects in this area.
{sidebar id=3}Michael states that he does not remember a time when he did not draw. His parents home exhibits many of these early childhood drawings. He credits Mrs. Mahaska Whitley, his art teacher in high school, for the encouragement that she gave him to follow his dreams and continue to pursue and develop his talent as an artist. Michael also took art classes at Tallahassee Community College.
Although Michael has always enjoyed his artwork and keeps a sketch book by his side at all times, he is only now sharing his talents with others. The exhibit is certainly worth a trip to Tallahassee. Do not miss viewing the outstanding work of this young artist -- Michael Parramore.
