Obituary for Houston Wayne Roberts 

Date of Death:  Monday, March 19, 2007 in Tallahassee, Florida.  He was 71 years old.

Occupation:  He was a long time employee of Gulf Coast Lumber.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Lake Ellen Baptist Church in Crawfordville, Florida with burial at Lake Ellen Cemetary in Crawfordville, Florida. 

The viewing will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at Harvey-Young Funeral Home in Crawfordville, Florida.

Memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL  32308.

Houston Wayne Roberts was born in Wright, Florida and was a resident of Crawfordville since 1984 moving from Tallahassee.  He was a U.S. Navy Veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, April Roberts.  He is also survived by two sons:  Mark Roberts of Tallahassee and Scot Roberts of Lafayette, Louisiana; one daughter:  Robin Roberts of Freeport, Florida; two stepdaughters:  Terri Johnson of Wakulla Station and Debi Revell of Sopchoppy; one brother:  Vernon Roberts of San Jose, California; and a devoted cousin:  Sandra Meador.  He had seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
