In Memory of Vonnie T. Carroll

Vonnie T. Carroll, 71, of Sopchoppy, Florida, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2008 in Tallahassee, Florida.  She was an Accounting Clerk for Wal-Mart.  The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at New Life Church in Crawfordville, Florida, with burial following at West Sopchoppy Cemetery in Sopchoppy, Florida.

Mrs. Carroll was born in Harbison City, Florida and was a resident of Sopchoppy since 1998, coming from Jacksonville, Florida.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She fought a long courageous battle with cancer.  She was a Christian.

She is survived by a son:  Ronald Carroll and wife Melinda of Tallahassee; two daughters:  Elaine Millender and husband Larry of Tallahassee, and Melody Stroud and husband Tony of Morgantown, North Carolina; four brothers:  Toodle Thompson and wife Joyce of Nashville, Georgia, Billy Mosley, Donald Mosley, and Dean Mosley, all of Perry, Florida; a sister:  Kitty Hendry of Perry, Florida; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, and many other family and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Fernandia Carroll and brothers Bobby and George Thompson.
