In Memory of Silas Kendall Crum

Silas Kendall Crum, 72, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2010 in Tallahassee, Florida.  He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara Ann Barron Crum.

He was born in Wakulla County, Florida and workedi n Panama City for over 40 years, then returned to Wakulla County.  He was Operation Manager for Lewis Bear Company.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 13, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Harvey-Young Chapel.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at Friendship Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.  Bevis Funeral Home, Harvey-Young Chapel in Crawfordville is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 241 John Knox Road, Suite 100, Tallahassee, FL 32303 (850)297-0588.

He is also survived by three sons; Kendall Crum (and wife Melinda) of Crawfordville, Herald Crum (and wife Brenda Sue) of Freeport, Florida, and William Jackson Crum, III (and wife Jennifer) of Tallahassee, Florida; two daughters:  Lisa Ann Hirst (and husband David) of Jacksonville, Florida, and Kimberly Selvers (and husband Butch) of Crawfordville; four brothers:  R.J. Crum of Webster, Florida, Paul Crum (and wife Ann) of Orlando, Florida, Amos J. Crum (and wife Carolyn) of Tallahassee, and Leonard Crum (and wife Barbara) of Crawfordville; sixteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, William Jackson Crum and Sally Ethel Moats Crum; brothers Henry, Jack, George, James, Luther and Walter Crum; and two sisters, Magglee Simons and Louise Thompson.
