Polly Dorothy Thompson Bourgeois, 83, of Crawfordville, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2012.

She was born in Fletcher North Carolina and moved here in 1946.  She was the owner/operator of Thompson’s grocery store in Panacea.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 14, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Bevis Funeral Home, Harvey-Young Chapel, Crawfordville, FL.

Graveside services will be Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Panacea Cemetery in Panacea, FL.  Bevis Funeral Home, Harvey-Young Chapel, Crawfordville is in charge of arrangements (850-926-3333 or bevisfh.com).

She is survived by three sons:  Willard D. Thompson, Timothy N. Thompson and Kenneth C. Thompson and daughter, Donna Bourgeois, all of Crawfordville, Florida.  Two step-sons:  Tom Bourgeois, Jr. of Portsmouth, VA and Carl Bourgeois of Crawfordville.  Step-daughter, Shirley McCarthy of Sioux Falls, S.D.  Twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Willard Thompson, and her husband of seven years, Tom Bourgeois.  She is also predeceased by one son, Mitchell A. Thompson, and all her brothers and sisters.
