In Memory of Karen Martha Tully
Karen Martha Tully, 60, passed away Friday, November 2, 2008 in Tallahassee, Florida. She worked for The Wakulla News as a graphic designer.
She was born and raised in Wakulla County and traveled extensively. She loved the mountains, loved to sit on the front porch, was a great storyteller and truly enjoyed working at The Wakulla News. She loved to laugh and never met a stranger.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Lake Ellen Baptist Church with burial at Crawfordville Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday, December 1, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Harvey-Young Funeral Home.
She is survived by four brothers: Charles Tully and Bobby Tully of Medart, Billy Tully of Arran and Joe Tully (and wife Nancy) of Las Vegas; one sister: Rita Sparkman (and husband Donnie) of Crawfordville; 14 nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces and nephews; and an aunt, Mary Updegraff (and husband Buddy).
She is predeceased by her parents Charles and Carolyn Tully.
