In Memory of Julia E. Lizzie "Mimie" Barwick
Julia E. Lizzie "Mimie" Barwick, 85, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2008, in Tallahassee, Florida. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Panacea Full Gospel Assembly in Panacea, Florida, with burial following at Panacea Cemetery in Panacea. The family will receive friends at the visitation at the residence of Ms. Lizzie from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2008.
Lizzie was the former owner and operator of Ronny's Seafood and was a pioneer of the seafood industries of Wakulla County. She was member of the Panacea Full Gospel Assembly. Her love of the outdoors included spending free time fishing. Lizzie was a loving mother for 66 and a half years and is survived by her children, son Norman Barwick; four daughters: Mildred Posey (and husband Noah), Margaret Falk (and husband Mike), and Louise Fedorak, all of Panacea, and Donna Chatham (and husband Steve) of Crawfordville; daughter-in-law Elise Barwick of Crawfordville; sister Darkus Revell of Sopchoppy; niece Tammy Barwick (and husband Bo) of Panacea; 21 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
Lizzie was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Barwick Jr. and Ronny Barwick; two grandsons, Shay Barwick and Michael Barwick; and a sister, Dellie Barwick.
The family will receive flowers and memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice of Wakulla County, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308.
