In Memory of Hugh Earl Chapman

 Hugh Earl Chapman, 74, of Crawfordville, Florida, passed away on Saturday,March 22, 2008 in Crawfordville.  He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Laverne Chapman of Crawfordville.  The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Harvey-Young Funeral Home in Crawfordville, Florida with burial following at Zion Hill Cemetery in Crawfordville, Florida.  The viewing will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2008 at Harvey-Young Funeral Home in Crawfordville, Florida (850-926-3333).

Hugh Earl Chapman was a lifelong resident of Wakulla County and a charter member of Zion Hill Methodist Church.  He did mechanical support at First Baptist of Tallahassee.  He loved his family and loved to fish in the creeks and fishing holes in Wakulla County.

He is also survived by two daughters:  Paula Knowles of Crawfordville and Peggy Morgan (and husband Tommy) of Leslie, Michigan; five grandchildren:  Cristine Jenkins, Melissa Knowles, Vito Knowles, Thomas "Rusty" Morgan and James Morgan; six great-granchildren; and many friends and family members, as well as his extended AA family.
