In Memory of Gladys L. Ruis

Gladys L. Ruis, 86, of Crawfordville, Florida, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2008 in Tallahassee, Florida.  She was a Nurse's Aide.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Ivan Assembly of God Church in Crawfordville, Florida with burial following at Ivan Cemetery in Crawfordville, Florida.  The viewing will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2008 at Harvey-Young Funeral Home (850-926-3333).

Mrs. Ruis was born in Moultrie, Georgia and was a resident of Crawfordville since 1969 coming from Virginia.  She was a Nurse's Aide at Eden Springs and was active in the Wakulla County Senior Citizens Center.  She was a member of Ivan Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by a son:  Richard L. Ruis and wife Carla of Wakulla Station; a daughter:  Ann Dempsey of Thomasville, Georgia; two brothers:  David Hunt of Thomasville, Georgia and W.J. Hunt of Gainesville, Florida; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Coy Ruis, a son, Jimmy Dempsey, and a daughter, Irene Harvey.
