In Memory of Floride Morrison Roberts

Floride Morrison  Roberts, 89, of Sopchoppy, Florida passed away on Monday, February 4, 2008 in Tallahassee, Florida, at Margaret Dozier Hospice House due to complications from Parkinson's disease.  The service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2008 at Sopchoppy United Methodist Church in Sopchoppy, Florida with burial following at West Sopchoppy Cemetery in Sopchoppy, Florida.  The viewing will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at Harvey-Young Funeral Home in Crawfordville, Florida (850-926-3333). 

Floride Morrison Roberts was born on September 3, 1918 in Sopchoppy, Florida to James Norman Morrison and Mary Duval Morrison.  She was married to Laurice (L. L.) Roberts for 57 years.  Together they owned and operated L. L. Roberts Service Station for 48 years. 

She is survived by three daughters:  Maribeth Crum and husband Warren, Carolyn Greener and husband Bob, and Patsy Roberts; five grandchildren:  Jamie Crum and wife Michelle, Leshan Smith and husband Brian, Jarrod Crum and wife Melissa, and Jason Greener and Staci Greener.  She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; two brothers-in-law:  Tommy Edwin Roberts and wife Bettye, and Eli P. Roberts.  She is also survived by her caregiver Charlene Green.

She was preceded in death by her husband Laurice (L. L.) Roberts and her parents Jim and Mary Morrison.
