Dale Lynn (Strange) Farmer peacefully left her temporary home to spend eternity with Jesus on November 23, 2011 at age 50.

She is survived by the love of her life and beloved husband of 30 years Eddie Lee Farmer, Jr.  A native of Panacea, Florida she lived most of her life in Saint Bernard, Louisiana and moved home in 1995.  She faithfully attended Panacea Congregational Holiness Church.

She is also survived by her mother Sally Guerra;  two brothers:  Dexter Strange (Marie) and Chad Strange (Lori); four sisters:  Alva Denise Lamarque (Emile), Darling King, Lacey Ard (Matthew) and Casey Strange.  She had one brother-in-law:  L.C. Farmer (Sherry); and three sister-in-laws:  Wilma Hall (Mose), Lessie Sapp, and Brenda Forbes (Carl).  Dale had two stepdaughters:  Nikki Farmer, and Pam White Harold); and one stepson:  Keith Farmer (Hideko).

Dale was preceded in death by her two fathers, Ben Guerra and Dalbert Strange; stepson Eddie "Sambam" Farmer III; father-in-law and mother-in-law Eddie Lee Farmer, Sr. (Beatrice); brother-in-law Todd Sapp; and niece Shannon McGuire.

Dale loved and delighted in her granddaughter and nieces and nephews:  Nyla, Abby, Sierra, Ben, Trena, Ravin, Ashley, Justin, Jerad, Little Chad, Jack, and Jordan.  Dale was loved and will be missed by these as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Dale’s life at the following services:  Visitation will be held Saturday November 26, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Bevis Funeral Home, Harvey-Young Chapel in Crawfordville (850-926-3333). 

Services will be held Monday, November 28, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Bevis Funeral Home Harvey-Young Chapel.  Burial will follow at Panacea Cemetery in Panacea.

Dale was a very sweet cousin. She and Farmer were a perfect match for each other. They loved each other dearly and it was a pleasure to be around them. Dale will be missed greatly at the reunions. She always worked so hard to make sure that everyone knew the date and time of the next reunion. I pray for all of Dale's loved ones. I pray that the Lord Jesus will comfort them, and that they will find the peace in Christ Jesus that Dale had experienced. To Farmer,Aunt Sally,Denise, Dexter,Darlene Lacie, Casey,Chad and all the others: I love you and pray that God's light will shine in your life, and that everytime you miss Dale, you will feel the peace of God that surpasses understanding. I pray that we all one day will be with Dale again in our final reunion. This time we will be together with all of our loved ones to celebrate throughout eternity. There will never be another sad time in Heaven, and no more tears. We will be together with Jesus, the one who saved us by paying a debt we owed but couldn't pay. Love, Joyce
