Deadline to Sign up for British Isles Trip is Fast Approaching
The deadline for signing up to go on the British Isles trip is the end of this month. At that time, the airline tickets and hotel accommodations will be secured. This 17 day trip to the British Isles is being organized by teachers Bob Wallace, Bob Blanton and Suzanne Camp for June 2008 and they are seeking more participants. The trip will include tours of Ireland, England, Wales, and Scotland. Some of the highlights will include visiting Stonehenge, Lock Ness, Bog Village Museum, Blarney Castle, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Welsh Castle, Rydal Mount, Stirling Castle, Edinburgh Castle, York Minster, Shakespeare’s birthplace and Roman baths.
There will be 4 sightseeing tours by licensed local guides of Dublin, Edinburgh, York and London, as well as 4 sightseeing tours led by the trip’s tour director of Ring of Kerry, Highlands, Straftford and Bath. There will also be walking tours of Edinburgh and London.
This spectacular 17 day trip is geared toward high school and college students, but is open to adults as well. The trip is organized through EF Educational Tours.
The price is approximately $3400 for students and approximately $3900 for adults. Students are in hotel rooms with 4 people and adults are in rooms with two people. The price includes round trip airfare from Tallahassee, 15 overnight stays in hotels, complete European breakfast and dinner daily, full time EF tour director, 8 sightseeing tours, 2 walking tours, and 14 visits to special attractions. There is also an optional extension to Paris, France for an additional fee.
