Weatherization Day Golf Tournament to be Held at Wildwood

The Wakulla County Weatherization Program will be hosting their 1st Annual Weatherization Day Golf Tournament on Friday, October 17th, 2008 at 8:30 a.m. at  Wildwood County Club at 3870 Coastal Highway in Crawfordville.  Play golf on a great course and help us raise money for a great cause!  All proceeds will go to the Wakulla County Weatherization Program to help weatherize the homes of low income families to reduce their energy burden.

The registration fee is $ 50 per person or $200 for a foursome and includes 18 hole green fees and cart, range balls, buffet lunch at awards ceremony, sleeve of balls, Closest to Pin Contest, Longest Drive Contest, and door prizes.  The format will be Four Person Scramble.  Range ball at 7:30 a.m.; shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.  Click here to download the Tournament Registration Form.   The deadline for registration is October 3, 2008. 

You may also choose to be a tournament sponsor.  Through a sponsorship you will be supporting the Wakulla County Weatherization and Low income energy assistance program. All proceeds will benefit the Wakulla County Weatherization Program in its efforts to assist low income families to reduce their energy burden.  Our goal is to help local families on a limited income to become more energy efficient, by reducing their high energy burden.  It helps to conserve energy and save our natural resources and reduce our dependency on foreign oil.

A sign with the sponsors names will be displayed on the golf course.  All sponsor information will be in a brochure provided to all attendees at the tournament and announced at the awards luncheon following the tournament.
