Government Wakulla County Sheriff's Office has New Phone Number

The Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office is implementing a new telephone system which will make the office one of the first telephone accounts in Wakulla County to use the new 745 exchange.
The changeover from the old antiquated and partial analog system to the new digital system is expected to take place on Tuesday, July 13 or Wednesday, July 14. The upgrade will be to a new Voice Over Internet Protocol (I.P.) or VoIP as it is known in the communications industry.
The main number at the sheriff’s office will be (850) 745-7100 although the old telephone number will still connect in as well. When other WCSO telephone numbers are called directly an automated message will tell the caller what the new number is.
The new phone system will give sheriff’s office employees much more functionality than the existing telephone system.
