Tourist Development Council Seeking Tourism Industry Data in Wakulla
Written by Pam Portwood, Director, Wakulla County Tourist Development Council Tuesday, 24 January 2012 16:51
The Wakulla County Tourist Development Council is starting the New Year with an effort to obtain complete and correct information for the tourism business listings on the Visit Wakulla website (www.visitwakulla.com).
When the website was initially launched, the TDC sent out a county-wide request to the county’s tourist-related businesses to complete the TDC Business Inventory Form. There were many businesses that did not complete and return the form, so the TDC has developed new forms that can be completed electronically or printed and completed by hand. The trends in tourism marketing are heavily weighted to the internet as more and more travelers plan their trips through web-based methods. It is the intent of the TDC to make our website the “go to” resource for travelers planning a trip to Wakulla County.
Additionally, the TDC is always looking for volunteers interested in helping to promote the “Wonders of Wakulla”. We hope you consider checking the box(es) at the bottom of the form to stay informed of TDC activities and/or work on one of our subcommittees.
Please take a moment to download the Business Inventory Form and return the completed form to:
Wakulla County TDC|
P. O. Box 67
Panacea, FL 32346
The above address is also included at the bottom of the form. Forms can be downloaded by clicking here, or a copy can be requested by email at pportwood@mywakulla.com or by phone to Pam Portwood at (850) 544-6133.
