Susan Brooks and Bill Shearer Will Wed
Peggie Brooks of Sopchoppy announces the engagement of her daughter, Susan Brooks of Crawfordville, to Bill Shearer of Pascagoula, Mississippi. He is the son of Paul Shearer of Ochlockonee Bay and Faye Shearer of Pascagoula, Mississippi. Brooks is also the daughter of the late Bernard Brooks.
The bride-elect graduated from Florida State University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Business. She is attending FSU presently in pursuit of a second Bachelor's degree in Accounting. She has been employed by Brooks Concrete as Business Administrator since 1996. She has two children, Brandon, age 14, and Brice, age 10.
Mr. Shearer graduated from the University of South Alabama in 1985 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Since 1987, he has been employed as Senior Project Manager for Guardian Industries. The time and place of the wedding will be announced at a future date.
