Learning Wheels Parent Training Sessions will be Rolling into Your Area Soon!

Parents and Educators… soon you will have several opportunities to attend a variety of extremely informative free sessions.

The 2nd Learning Wheel will be held at Crawfordville Elementary School (379 Arran Road) in Crawfordville, Florida on January 24, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Participants will have an opportunity to attend breakout sessions on:

• Understanding ADHD
• Test-Taking Strategies
• Introduction to Asperger’s Syndrome

The 3rd Learning Wheel will be held at Taylor County School Board Room (318 N. Clark Street) in Perry, Florida on January 31, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Participants will have an opportunity to attend breakout sessions on:

• ABC’s of I.E.P.’s
• Understanding ADHD
• Presents for Parents: 7 Gifts to Help Your Child Demonstrate Appropriate Behavior

The 4th Learning Wheel will be held at the Aquilina Howell Instructional Center (3955 W. Pensacola Street, Tallahassee, Florida), on February 7, 2009 from 8:30- 12:30 p.m. Participants will have an opportunity to attend breakout session on:

• Understanding Learning Styles
• Universal Design for Learning
• Ways to Provide Decision-making Assistance (including guardianship issues)

The 5th Learning Wheel will be held at Jefferson Elementary School (960 E. Rocky Branch Road, Monticello, Florida), on March 7, 2009 from 8:30- 12:30 p.m. Breakout session topics are forthcoming.
