The Wakulla Springs Benefit Surplus Auction is going on online now through Wednesday, October 27, 2010.

Come on out to Wakulla Springs State Park on Saturday, October 23, 2010 from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. and preview the more than 150 items being auctioned to benefit the “Friends of Wakulla Springs” flat-boat restoration project.

Bring the family, make it a fun day, lunch in the restaurant serving World Famous Navy Bean soup and much more, 11:30 A.M. – 2:00 P.M.  Go to the snack bar for hamburgers, BBQ, ice cream and more, 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.

Bring your picnic basket and fire up the grill on the grounds.  Go swimming, take a boat ride, enjoy the beautiful weather at Wakulla Springs State Park and view the items you want to bid on.

Items from the Wakulla Springs Lodge will be offered in this online only auction.  Surplus and historical items, including furniture, vehicles, restaurant, kitchen, snack bar equipment, room furnishings, chairs, lamps, rugs, boat, grain silo, exterior/interior Lodge fixtures and much more.  Proceeds go towards the continued historical restoration and preservation projects by the Friends of Wakulla Springs, including the restoration and repair of the Springs flat-boats.
