The Wakulla Professional & Business Women's Association is an organization in Wakulla County serving to educate and support women in our community.  We currently provide two $1,000.00 scholarships each year, and for the past two years we've been able to add a third equal scholarship due to the success of our annual Fall Fling Fundraiser.

We meet the third Wednesday of each month at noon at the War Eagle Café at Wakulla High School where we participate in Home Ec Teacher Pam Evans   Culinary Arts" program.  The students decorate the tables, prepare, cook and serve the food during our meetings.

We customarily have a Speaker and a Community Table.  The Speaker varies each month ranging from financial planning to health care, legal matters and self-defense.  The Community Table provides a forum for a local business to display information and briefly describe the services they provide.

If you are interested in attending one of our meetings, please contact our President, Jackie Lawhon at (City of Sopchoppy) (850) 62-4611.  Reservations for lunch are required and can be phoned in to our Vice-President, Beverly Halstead at (Chamber of Commerce) (850)926-1848.

Our mission statement:  To encourage integrity and friendship throughout our community by creating an awareness of the value and contributions of women.
