Community Wakulla County Public Library Events for September 14 - 20, 2010

WCPL’s Friday Book Club is announcing that they’re back from their summer break and that they are looking for new members!
This group meets on our smaller conference room at 3:00 each Friday afternoon and is currently discussing the collection 2009 Best American Short Stories edited by bestselling author Alice Sebold and Heidi Pitlor. Books for the Book Club are provided by the Friends of the Library at cost to those participating and can be purchased at the front desk.
The Wakulla County Historical Society is also coming back from their summer break this week as John Y. Roberts will be speaking on “Salt Pan Island” at their monthly meeting on Tuesday at 7:00 in our Main Meeting Room. Please come out and join us as we learn about Wakulla County History from this very active group!
Representatives from Ochlocknee State Park will be celebrating Florida Literacy Month by having a reading program at the library at 9:00 in our Main Meeting Room. Bring the family out and learn about the world around you!
