Luncheon Will Be Held in Observance of National Crime Victims Week
{sidebar id=1}The Big Bend Victim's Assistance Coalition is hosting a luncheon in observance of National Crime Victims Week, which is April 14 through 18. The luncheon will be held on Monday, April 14, 2008 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Silver Slipper, located at 531 Silver Slipper Lane in Tallahassee. The tickets are $20 per person, and can be purchased at the door.
There will be a special dedication to Charles Maris, a Victim's Advocate for Liberty County. The luncheon will also honor local crime victims, homicide survivors and families, as well as recognize those who serve them.
This year's theme is "Justice for victims, justice for all. Until we achieve justice for victims we cannot obtain justice for all."
