Wakulla's Native Shrubs & Small Trees
Will Be Showcased by Iris at Night
Will Be Showcased by Iris at Night
The Iris at Night Garden Club will showcase 60 local native shrubs and small trees at its 7:00 p.m. meeting on Tuesday, October 25. Learn how many of these local plants got their names. Learn to tell poison sumac from wing-ribbed sumac -- and many other interesting things. Not sure what's growing in your own yard? To find out the name of a plant, bring a cutting and a description of your plant to the meeting.
The program is open to the public and will be held at the Wakulla Library on Crawfordville Highway (319) in Medart. For more information, contact Jeannie Brodhead at 926-2264.
