Friends of the Library will Host Free Book Extravaganza
The Friends of the Library will be holding a Free Book Extravaganza at the library on Saturday, December 8th from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The free items will include fiction, non-fiction, children's, and reference books, as well as DVD's and videos. All items are free but the Friends encourage monetary donations to assist with their ongoing support of library services.
Local authors Norma Sundberg and Bill Wood will be on hand selling and autographing their books. Sundberg's childrens book "An Odd Fable" and Wood's book of poetry "Still Here" will be available.
An animated feature film will be shown during the event (10 a.m. until noon) to allow parents or caregivers more time for browsing through the used books.
