SOPCHOPPY - The Department of Environmental Protection's Ochlockonee River State Park, in support of the State of Florida's September Literacy Month initiative, announces our Reading with a Ranger program at the Wakulla County Library. This school-age children program is designed to support the joys and lifelong benefits derived from reading.
Admission to the program is free. Don't miss this opportunity for family interaction while helping children develop reading skills. This outreach to the surrounding community is made possible through a cooperative effort with the Wakulla County Library.
In addition, Ochlockonee River State Park entrance fees will be waived September 10 through 12 for those who present a current library card, library book or for donating a new or gently-used family friendly book.
