CHAT Adoption Center will Host Grand Opening
{sidebar id=3}The CHAT Adoption Center will be closed from Monday, June 16, 2008 through Friday, June 20, 2008 for re-organization purposes. We are located at 1 Oak Street in Crawfordville, next to the Wakulla County Sheriffs Office.
On Saturday, June 21, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the CHAT Adoption Center will have a Grand Opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony, free hot dogs, soft drinks and entertainment. The public is invited to attend; it should be a lot of fun for everybody. We hope to see you there.
Citizens for Humane Animal Treatment (CHAT) is a non-profit organization committed to improving the health, safety, and well-being of domesticated animals in our community. Our roots are in the former Wakulla Humane Society, an organization that had been active for over 30 years. Our activities include: shelter volunteer work, fostering dogs and cats, fund-raising, animal rehabilitation, spay/neuter campaigns and education activities.
