Rotary of Wakulla will Raffle "Wakulla Weekend for Two"
Rotary of Wakulla County is selling raffle tickets for a "Wakulla Weekend for 2". The weekend, which will take place from Friday, August 16th to Sunday, August 19th, will include a host of wonderful activities that will take place right here in beautiful Wakulla County!
Friday's activities include lunch at Riverside Cafe in St. Marks; a tour of the San Marcos de Apalache Historic State Park and Old Fort; a tour of the St. Marks Refuge Tourist Center; a tour of the St. Marks Lighthouse; a visit to Gulf Specimen Marine Lab in Panacea; dinner at Hook Wreck Henry's in Panacea; and lodging at The Inn at Wildwood.
{sidebar id=1}Saturday's schedule includes breakfast at the Coastal Restaurant in Panacea; a 7:00 a.m. offshore fishing trip with Captain Jay (sponsored by Wakulla Bank); a picnic lunch provided by Lindy's Chicken; dinner at Angelo's and Sons Seafood Restaurant (after freshening up back at the Inn at Wildwood); and lodging at The Inn at Wildwood following dinner.
Sunday's events include breakfast at Wakulla Springs; a 9:30 a.m. Wakulla Springs Jungle Cruise; sink hole tours with Cal Jamison from 10:30 a.m. until lunch; and lunch at El Jalisco. The winner is responsible for initially getting to Wakulla County, but once here, transportation will be provided throughout the weekend.
The suggested donation price per ticket is only $1.00, and you do not have to be present to win. Wakulla County Rotary members and their immediate family members are not elegible to win. Be sure to purchase several tickets for a chance to win this wonderful prize weekend and rediscover why Wakulla County is "the natural place to be!" It would make a great gift for that out-of-town friend or relative, as well!
The drawing will be held at noon on Thursday, August 2, 2007. See any Rotary of Wakulla member to purchase tickets, or stop by the Wakulla Area Times office and ask for Lady or Guinn Haskins, or the Coldwell Banker Office (ask for Don Henderson or Jeanie Porter) next to Pizza Hut in Crawfordville.
